We live in a busy, fast paced world where it seems we are always “plugged in” especially due to technology. Many of us take vacations to unplug and reconnect with ourselves, which is wonderful and well deserved. But we can’t get away every day. Your home should offer you that same type of retreat. It should be the place where once you step inside, your body instantly relaxes and your mind clears.
Your mental house, as I call it, is equally, if not more important. We can get lost in our thoughts, good and bad. We make up stories based on perceptions and non-existent scenarios that lead us to make poor decisions or assume things that aren’t true about ourselves or others. You need to be able to let go and clear the rooms in your mind of the things that keep you stuck.
The Rediscover, Redefine, Redesign program was designed to help you rediscover who you are and redefine both your mental and physical spaces. All your spaces are intertwined with each other. Your physical space effects your mental space and your mental space determines your physical space.
The workshop will be a journey of self-exploration, during which you will:
Rediscovered yourself by defining who you are and reframing your mindset.
Identify your personal energy as well as the energy in your space.
Understand the importance of space, mental and physical.
Explore the rooms in your mind and your home and reframe them to be more reflective of you.
Confront your fears.
Change the world’s perception of you.
Each week you will have rediscovery questions and redefining actions to complete. There is a 12 month designing action guide listed at the end of the program. I suggest you perform 1 action per month over the course of the 12 months following the completion of your 8 week journey.
Your space is your sanctuary. Your mind is your temple. Each should reflect who are and bring you peace, serenity, and rejuvenation.
